Banksy vs Bristol Museum

After almost an hour of queueing, me & SC finally get into the exhibition by Banksy. Banksy is a well-known Bristolian graffiti artist. I'm always a big fan of his graffiti art which some you still can see in Bristol. His graffities are definitely cooler than any other you seen before. His art of graphic, political, message he wana brought to people kept really real.

A long queue outside Bristol museum...

He's once went to the Museum of London and post one of his artwork on the wall of the gallery. He just stood by and see people walking around and watch his bizzare artwork on the wall. After an hour the artwork dropped on the floor and everybody freak out and thought there was a robbery. The authority of museum eventually shut the entire building down and found out it was Banksy who is behind all these. LOL... Now he can legally display any of his art, pictures, and animatronics inside the Bristol museum.

It is worth the wait. I was suprised that there are old people came along and watch this exhibition. Inside the museum, I saw an old woman taking pictures and laughing while looking at one of the Banksy's works. It's nice that everything exhibited in the museum can be shared by everyone from different age. What is interesting about the exhibition is he subverting most of the famous art and making a comment on society. He changed a boring museum into an attractive one... by displaying his art forms which are creative and filled with playfulness. We're certainly enjoyed ourself "visually" of what he had delivered. Well this would probably be the busiest period the museum would ever had, who would've thought... a museum vandalised by a graffiti artist? Below are some of his works...

Jean-Francois Millet's The Gleaners (1857) with subtitle-agency work...

An armed-police riding on a "horse"...

"Angel"...

Make-up rabbit...

Little girl with a gas mask...

Tweety...

Armed dairy girl...
