AC/DC: Vintage Rock n Roll...!!!

First of all, do you know who they are? they are not two old men who there's one singing karaoke and another one playing 'Guitar Hero'. They are A.. C.. D.. C..!

Most people probably know that the world's best selling album of all time is Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album in 1982. So did anyone know who's taken 2nd place? it's AC/DC's "back in black". You might say "what? what OCBC? bank ar?" as that's one of my Malaysian friends' respond which made me laugh crazily. lol!

Well, AC/DC is actually a well-known Australian rock band named after a sewing machine. (so random ya...)They often called their music "rock n roll". The band was popular back in the 70s and 80s and suprisingly they're still making albums now. You might think "what?! since 1970s?" yea, the band is 36 years old by now. The guitarist, Angus Young is 54 years old and the lead singer, Brian Johnson is 61 years old. Again you might think that who would be that stupid to pay buying their album or even watch a bunch of old guys playing rock songs on the stage live. Ha! these old men's current album "Black Ice" sold millions of copies and sold out most of their concerts of their world tour... amazing...

One day I was watching a wwe payperview show and its official theme songs is performed by AC/DC. I was amazed by it and my mind was floating "wow wow wow!" "that's what a rock song should be!" AC/DC's combination of Brian Johnson's unique pure rock voice and Angus Young's awesome skilled guitar performance make any rock songs they made full of soul, energy and power. It is really addicted listening to their songs every single time.

Looking back at their history, Brian Johnson is a replacement of ex AC/DC vocalist, the late Bon Scott. The band considered disbanding following Scott's death, but ultimately decided to continue and shortly thereafter hired Brian Johnson as the new vocalist. After that, their upcoming album "Back in Black" sold 45 millions copies, become 2nd worldwide best selling album of all time. The album use all-black cover as a sign of mourning for the death of Bon Scott. It is the same like artist or art-painter whose their painting will be more valauble and more people to buy after they've died.

Well, they might be old enough for us to know. Try listen to them, you "might" addicted to them. I posted a video called "Thunderstruck" which is lived in Donnington 10 years ago. This video has Angus's incredible guitar solo at the start and Brian Johnson's "lovely" rock voice singing the whole song. Enjoy...
