Work Hard or Work Smart?

Mr. F: Bro, you work hard or work smart?

Mr. B: ...... 

Mr. B: Why?

Mr. F: Just asking...

Mr. B: Both way I guess...

Mr. F: Saja nak kena you... hahaha

Mr. B: .... 

             ( WTF?! kena in what sense... )

At that time I thought I was stupid; answering a stupid question asked by a stupid fellow...

Sometime don't you ever get people asking you questions that is somehow hard to answer...

If your answer is:

A) Work Hard

B) Work Smart

C) Work Hard & Smart

D) No I neither work hard or smart

If you have choosen one of the following answers, the meaning is: 

A) So you don't work smart, what an idiot...

B) How cocky is that...

C) You're damn cocky...

D) LOL stupid fellow...

The Fox and The Crow...

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.

     "That's for me, as I am a Fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.

     "Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "How well you are looking today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."

     The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox.

     "That will do," said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."

Sometimes I think that my current sales job is just like the interaction between the fox and the crow....

We're the foxes, our clients are the crows, the cheese is the money...

We're just using different ways to attract their attention... let them feel how benefit the deal is going to be... in exchange, get me what I want... which is the $$$

Well, what the crows learn from here?

Maybe it's just stress...

Have you ever been in a situation where your mindset questioning yourself "why are you doing in what you're doing right now" "shouldn't you be...." in a very sudden state...

When I was doing my job in the office today, as usual, talked to my client, after that I hanged my phone... "PAP!" a blink of an eye, I suddenly feel like I just came to a whole new world... questioning myself  and telling myself "I'm not supposed to be here..." I am not supposed to be sitting here doing sales...

Don't know why...

It feels like one second ago I was sitting in my comfy chair inside my room in Filton Bristol, then after that sitting the same chair in my office in KL...

Feels like in a flash, I just came back from somewhere with a time machine... totally different state......

Don't know why, maybe it's just stress...

You let me think about Bristol...

Thank you Skns... another brilliant season...

Everytime I watched it, I'll think about some of my mates in Bristol, mates in Sains... 

Well some words I actually never heard before, like "Twat", "Spliff", "Tosser"; 1st time exposed to those words on skns... I still remembered myself asking Caron (my calleague in Sains) what "Twat" is, funny moment...

Don't you love the way they are talking, calling their friends "mates", "love", "darling", "bugger" which I still found it only the Brits speak in that lovely~ way... Cheers Skns... :)
